Kinetic paintings
These paintings and drawings are not kinetic in a literal sense. Rather, they contain elements that convey a sense of motion — almost as though, if looked at long enough, the wheel-like elements in them start gyrating. Perhaps they should be more aptly called faux kinetic paintings, as they don’t deliver on expectations of an op-art effect they may raise. Furthermore, the epithet faux also applies here as they are made from vector shapes and printed on canvas or paper rather than painted or drawn.
